Beautiful Miss M on Our New Set

This gorgeous client was making a gift calendar and gave us permission to use her March selection on the web. Not only does she look fantastic in the purple outfit but it makes quite a stunning image on our new set with the red sofa.

I like to add texture overlays to the wall during the retouching to give it different looks such as plaster or an old brick wall. This one has an overlay that gives it a painterly effect.

Gorgeous Miss M

Miss M had a fantastic session recently and approved publishing a few of her beautiful images. Our red satin sheets combined with her dark hair and red lingerie make a striking image for a Christmas or Valentine's Day theme. I also love the image of her in the black corset on our dark red bench. I couldn't decide which one I like best so I thought I'd just treat everyone to both.

New Pin Up Website Ready

We've been quite busy lately with getting our new pin up website ready located at http://www.houstonpinup.com/.

This next picture isn't from a recent session but the pose is classic pinup. I just went back over it and gave it a pinup treatment. I think it came out fantastic.

Super Pinup

My first photo session after coming back from the California pin up workshop was of a wonderful client that wanted to include some pin up in her session. Yeah!!! She had a great pinup-styled swimsuit with polka dots that worked out perfectly. We added some of our props such as the Chinese umbrella and chrome stool to give some variety to her look. She approved these for use on the web. Enjoy!

New Pin Ups

I've been in southern California this weekend at a pin up workshop learning a new technique for pin up photography. The workshop was given by Robert Alvarado, a photographer whose pin up technique I just love. I can't wait to get back home and start giving my clients this wonderful look for their pin up pictures.

While I was in California, I heard about a Frederick's of Hollywood store that had everything on sale for some crazy low prices so I just had to go by and see what I could find. I scored several pin up style outfits that will be coming home with me.

It's Been A While

I'm so bad...I've had so many gorgeous clients over the past few months keeping me so busy that I've not gotten around to posting any of the beautiful images that they gave me permission to use.

Here's Shelley. She wanted to do some pinup last month as well as some glamour styled pictures with our one light set. I think they came out fantastic. The top one looks like it came straight out of a magazine. The bottom one looks like it should be printed on canvas and hung on a wall.

Erica

A few weeks ago we photographed a beautiful client who wanted to do some Marilyn Monroe-styled poses on red satin. They came out fantastic as you can see from one example above. We wrapped the session up with some shots on our one light set up.

I just love our one light work. It's very mysterious, sexy, and glamorous all at the same time and has been a big hit with our clients. The images make wonderful black and white or sepia-toned portraits.

And the cool thing is that we can make it work for every body type!

Erin

Erin is going to be celebrating her wedding anniversary soon and thought how special it would be to not only do just a boudoir shoot but also unpack her wedding dress and veil for some fun and flirty bridal boudoir styled shots for a present to her husband. My favorite was this one of her in a beautiful black corset with hot pink garters! Oooh la la!

Krystle

Krystle wanted some nice glamour and boudoir photos for a Valentine's Day gift for her guy. She chose our black set for a glamorous look, especially with our pearls and faux fur props. It showcased her beautiful blonde hair perfectly. She was nice enough to let us share these favorites with everyone.

Andrea

Andrea came to us recently to get some boudoir and glamour portraits for a Valentine's Day present to her fiance. And, since she's getting married in a few months, she's planning a special album for later that includes some bridal boudoir portraits.

I love this one in black and white. Her beautiful eyes just pop off the screen. This canvas is going to look so fantastic hanging on a wall.

Jessica

Jessica wanted a special gift for her husband for his birthday. She wanted to knock his socks off. After seeing some of her pictures during and after the shoot, I think we succeeded. This one reminds me a bit of Marilyn Monroe, especially the eyes.

Jessica's portrait was done on our all white set which we use for pin-up as well as soft and romantic shots.

The 31st is Now Booked

Unless we have a last minute cancellation, we are booked until after Valentine's Day. I can always put your name on a wait list in case something becomes available. Call us if you want us to notify you first.

Now is a great time to schedule a spring boudoir or glamour session for a few months away. It will give you a target date and some great incentive to help you keep that New Year's resolution you made whether it's to get in shape for bathing suit season, loose 10 pounds, use that fancy eye cream daily, or just simply drink more water to keep your body hydrated. We're here to help and just a phone call away.

January 18th is Taken but the 31st is Now Open

I was able to shuffle a session from the 31st to the 18th. So, the 18th is no longer available. However, the 31st is now open. It is the last day that we would be able to book a session for a Valentine's Day delivery.

We Have a January Opening!

We have an opening on January 18th due to a reschedule request. This date will allow time for a Valentine's Day gift. Boudoir and glamour portraits make wonderful surprises for your sweetheart.

Call us to reserve this session. It's the only opening we have during the month of January and it just became available today.

A refundable $100.00 deposit is required to reserve the session. We accept MC, VS, and AmEx. The first paid deposit gets the session. Calls will be returned in order of timestamps of email and/or voicemail messages.

We're Booked Through Valentine's Day

Well, we had so many girls wanting Christmas sessions that we couldn't fit everyone in so some spilled over into January for Valentines Day gifts. Now, we're all booked up through mid-February.

My suggestion to everyone is to go ahead and book your session well in advance of when you need your pictures in order to guarantee the date you want. A refundable $100.00 deposit will hold your date for months.

Brides, you girls are perfect! You know when you need your pictures months in advance so book early and schedule your boudoir bridal session 4-6 weeks before your wedding. That way you won't be rushed and can relax and enjoy the session knowing we will get that album or photo box ready for you on time to present to your fiance.

We Have A Last Minute Opening!

Due to a reschedule, we have Sunday, December 21 open if anyone is looking for a last-minute boudoir or glamour session before Christmas. There's not enough time for an album before Christmas, for course, but it IS plenty of time for us to get your online gallery posted along with 3 or 4 fully retouched and airbrushed Artist's Choice examples using images from your session.

You have the option of purchasing a 5x7 custom greeting card with a beautiful airbrushed image of you on the front. The message inside can be either blank (you write your own) or we can print a personalized message of your choice. The card is suitable for framing later.

Afterwards, you can decide together which images are the favorites from your proof gallery and let us create an album, calendar, or individual prints for you.

We Do Gift Certificates for Christmas or Anytime!

Just because we're booked until after Christmas doesn't mean you fellas out there can't give your sweetie a very special gift this year. Give her the gift you will both enjoy, a sexy boudoir and glamour photo session. She can schedule her shoot any time.

We had the pleasure of working with a wonderful gal a few days ago and got some great images with several of our new sets including the all black and all white. I absolutely love the first picture with the reflection. I think this is now my all-time favorite. Her hubby should really love his Christmas present - gorgeous, sensual photos of his beautiful wife.

Booked Solid through Christmas

Hi everyone. We are booked completely up until the weekend after Christmas. We're already scheduling January sessions. So, if you're thinking of a Valentine's Day gift of boudoir photography for your guy, don't wait too long because the cutoff date will be January 31.

Smokey-Eyed Bride-to-Be

We had this very beautiful young woman come to us recently wanting to do an album for her fiance as a wedding gift. She wanted to have her pictures be a little dark, a little mysterious and definitely sexy. I think they came out wonderful and so stunning. I always come back to how smokey her eyes are.

Things have finally started to return to normal after the hurricane. The last few weeks have been busy shooting and airbrushing our clients' images. Beautiful Sandra had her session back in September and allowed me to post these two favorites.

Intermittent Phone and Internet

Ever since Ike blew through our area our Internet and phone service has had intermittent outages. If you try to call us and you get a fast busy, please call back later or just use our contact form on the website to send us a message. Email is getting through and we will get back to you.

At least our power has been stable so we aren't expecting any problems with completing sessions in our cool air conditioned studio.

Your Privacy is Respected

Hi all!

We had an outstanding client over the weekend that wanted to surprise her husband on their upcoming anniversary with some sexy photos of herself. We took some terrific pictures that came out just beautiful. However, she expressed concern about someone from her work might see her pictures and get a wrong idea. So, I thought I'd post something about our policy of showing examples of our work.

All the pictures you see on our blog as well as on our website (and in-studio samples and marketing material) are used after receiving permission from our clients. If you want us to take some very personal and intimate portraits for you to give to your someone special, then we believe you should be able to do that with the complete confidence that it will be kept confidential. You have the option of releasing individual images as well as releasing none at all.

We love to show our work and everything we show is going to be flattering to both us and our clients. After we see your gorgeous images, we may contact you later and ask (beg) your permission to use a particular image but feel free to tell us no. You are not obligated to say yes. We may cry a little but we'll get over it!

Our ultimate goal is to make you a happy and satisfied client who will recommend us to their girlfriends. We love referrals. We even have a referral coupon that is good for a free 5x7 when you refer a friend who books a session with us.

We had the privilege of photographing beautiful Ashlee for her birthday. I don't think I've had as tough of a job of selecting my favorites as I had with her session images. I finally narrowed it down to about half a dozen to go in her Artist's Choices folder in her proofing gallery. I could easily have had 50! She simply was a joy to work with!

We recently had the honor to photograph lovely Christina. She wanted a one-of-a-kind birthday present for her husband.

She gave us permission to use a few of her pictures on our website. This image is one from her session. It's become one of my all time favorites and is definitely going on display on our studio walls.
